No, clients can self-refer by booking on our website or calling Bloomhill Cancer Centre on (07) 5445 5794.
Currently, I am only offering Thursdays but may have the ability to do an after-hours clinic or even a Saturday clinic in the future.
A new client form will be sent to you after booking an appointment. If you do not receive the form, that’s ok just bring a current list of your medications including over the counter or supplements taken. Please bring your Medicare card.
Yes, please bring your Medicare card to all appointments.
Yes, I will always communicate with your GP and/or medical oncologist. Letters will be sent to them after any review. I believe it is best practice to communicate with your team to provide the best care for you.
Yes, we bulk bill for all appointments. We don’t want any financial considerations getting in the way of you receiving the care you need.
I cover most tumour types including Lung, Head and Neck, Skin, Brain, Gynaecological, Breast and Colorectal.

I am unable to do any treatments related to your chemotherapy treatments. This includes Injections or Intravenous medications.
I cannot prescribe any chemotherapy or targeted therapies.
I can prescribe supportive medications to alleviate symptoms such as pain, nausea, vomiting etc.
I can also prescribe medications such as hormone blockers such as letrozole.
About Tammy
I have been a nurse in cancer care for over 25 years and have worked in a variety of cancer areas including chemotherapy, radiation, palliative, and inpatient. I have cared for people with cancer from diagnosis to end of life. My love and passion have always been in cancer care.
The Nurse Practitioner is the highest level of the nursing positions available.
My dream had always been to be that nurse practitioner in oncology and provide the best one on one care to people with cancer to the best of my ability.
I achieved the Master of nurse practitioner and now my career moves to providing that care.
Bloomhill is providing me with the means to help people with cancer in the community. I am very excited to start this new journey in my career.
There is the saying: It takes a village, and this holds true for me. That village includes all your health professionals providing the best care to you and along with that comes collaboration and communication. My goal will be to keep the lines of communication with your health professionals open.
